Recreational Classes
Our recreational teams are available to anyone no matter their age, shape or size and you don't need to have any previous experience!! If you would like to come along for a FREE trial lesson and see what the sport of cheerleading is all about, please call the office on 0800 CHEERLEADER to find your nearest class!! (Please note - ages are a guideline only)

Shining Stars 5 - 7 Years aprox | (1 hour/week) | $112.50 per term
This program is perfect for the beginner. This level is designed to cover arm motions, jump technique, safe stunting, cheers, chants, tumble and introduce basic dance elements needed to begin the development of a well-rounded cheerleader. The "Shining Stars" will also get to compete against teams at the same ability level.
Shooting Stars 7 - 11 Years aprox | (1.5hours/week) | $135 per term
This program is perfect for the beginner. The level is designed to cover arm motions, jump technique, safe stunting, cheers, chants, tumble and introduce basic dance elements needed to begin the development of a well-rounded cheerleader. This team will move slightly faster than the Shining Stars because of the slightly older age category. The team will also compete against other teams of the same ability level. They will learn the skills to help progress them to an Elite team. It is suggested that cheerleaders in this team take an additional tumble class suited to their level.
Rising Stars 10 - 15 Years aprox | (1.5hours/week) | $135 per term
This program is perfect for the beginner. The level is designed to cover arm motions, jump technique, safe stunting, cheers, chants, tumble and introduce basic dance elements needed to begin the development of a well-rounded cheerleader. This team will move slightly faster than the Shooting Stars because of the slightly older age category. The team will also compete against other teams of the same ability level. They will learn the skills to help progress them to an Elite team. It is suggested that cheerleaders in this team take an additional tumble class suited to their level.
