ALL STAR CHEERLEADERS OFFICIALLY HOLD TWO WORLD RECORD TITLES

All Star Cheerleaders are very proud to tell you that we officially hold two world records attempted on the Hit TV show, NZ Smashes Guinness World Records screened to all of New Zealand.  The first record that we hold is for fitting the most people inside a Mini.  All Star Cheerleaders fit 24 cheerleaders into the mini at Sylvia Park smashing the former record held by the Spanish of 22.

The other record that All Star Cheerleaders are very proud to hold is for the Highest Cheerleading Basket Toss.  The amazing group of cheerleaders threw Kate Mann and amazing 5.1 metres smashing the former record!! 

 

 

WORLDS 2009

USA Tour a Huge Success! 3^rd in the World in Three Categories!!

60 of New Zealand’s top competitive cheerleaders headed off to the USA from 14 – 29 April for the Cheerleading World Cup and World Championship events.

Team New Zealand was proud to represent our country at the first ever Cheerleading World Cup. The competition was set up as a precursor to the Olympics. Our team received bronze for their phenomenal performance – we were so pleased with third place in the World and the team was all very proud of their bronze medals! The Team New Zealand Stunt team also placed third in the world in all-girl level 6, proving just how talented our girls are! 

The All Star Stormz and Viperz both competed at the World Champs and both did out-standing! Stormz placed 4^th out of all junior coed teams. Viperz placed 6^th out of all senior all-girl teams. The Nations Cup was awarded to highest scoring teams in both all-girl and coed. Stormz took 4^th place in the world out of all coed teams and Viperz took 3^rd place in the world out of all the all-girl teams. 

The trip was so successful we walked away with 3 bronze placings, two 4^th placings and a 6^th place. These were based on all the teams that entered including around 70 different countries. Our cheerleaders really proved what international standard they have reached and how much all their hard work really has paid off!
