Over $46,000.00 has been raised do far for SmartMail Team NZ!! A big thank you on behalf of the team to all our supporters. 

The Cheer & Dance Rave Championship was a huge success and our biggest fundraiser to date raising over $10,000. A big thank you to our amazing cheerleading Station Managers Kate, Rebecca, Yetti, Ashleigh, Alyssa & Michelle who stepped up and did an incredible job organizing their stations.

A special thanks to the Susan Isles, Sandy Warrington & of course our wonderful event co-ordinator Lisa Tapley-Bale! Also a big thank you to all the parents and cheerleaders who helped on the day to make the event such a success.

On behalf of Team NZ we wish to say a big thank you to Kimberley Ramsay who not only helped with co-ordinating fundraising for the event but also for her very generous $15,000 donation to the team.

Cheerleader Share of Competition Fundraising

For all future competition fundraisers points will be allocated as follows:

Cheerleader Share Total Start Value 12 points

Parent help is worth an automatic 6 points

Set-up Help (Must have manager sign-off) 2 points

Comp Help (Must have manager sign-off) 2 points

Pack-Down Help (Must have manager sign-off) 2 points

Bonus Points – Must get Kimberley’s Sign-off

Staying Late to help Comp Set-up 2 points

Re-setting Gym after Competition 5 points

Manager Sign-off

Cheerleaders must ensure that they get the Set-up & Pack-down Manager and the Competition Station Manager to sign off their points before leaving. If the manager thinks they have not done the work then you will receive no points or a lower point value than other cheerleaders that have been working harder. This will be at the sole discretion of the manager & no correspondence will be entered into. The reason for doing this is that we have received complaints from managers that while cheerleaders are present to help some don't actually do any work.

Cheerleaders, basically if you do the work you will get the points, if you have to come and question after the fact that you didn’t get points then clearly you weren’t doing as much as others were. You want to ensure you give your manager no doubt that you deserve those points.

Please also note that it is the cheerleaders responsibility to get their points signed off. Managers weil not be chasing after you and this needs to be done on the day before you leave.

We will send out a list a week before the competition advising who the managers are and who you need to report to for set-up, pack-down & comp work.
